Taylor Elementary Round-Up for 2018–2019

Taylor Community Schools’ KINDERGARTEN and TINY TITANS
PRESCHOOL ROUND-UP for the 2018 -2019 school year will be held
Thursday, April 12, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. and from 4:00 p.m. – 6:30
p.m. at Taylor Elementary School in Indiana Heights.

No appointment is 

In order to attend Kindergarten, a child must be 5 years of age on or before
August 1, 2018. To attend Pre-K, a child must be 4 years of age on or
before August 1, 2018. To attend Preschool, a child must be 3 years of age 
on or before August 1, 2018, and be potty trained.
Parents need to bring the child’s official birth certificate, proof of
immunizations, and social security card.

A $50 registration fee is also due 
to secure your child’s spot in our
Tiny Titans program as we have limited s
paces available.

interested in attending our Round-Up this year.

Round-Up is a pre-registration process for our incoming Preschoolers and

Kindergartners. The morning session will be paperwork only, while
teachers will be available during the afternoon session to talk with you,
meet your child, and show you some aspects of our program.
Congratulations to Taylor Community School Corporation being selected as a finalist for 2017 Public Institution of the Year by the Howard County Chamber of Commerce with Indiana Universty at Kokomo and Ivy Tech of Kokomo. This was celebrated on Thursday, November 2nd at the 103rd Annual Celebration. Congratulations to the Indiana University of Kokomo for being named Public Institution of the year. *Attention Juniors: Now is the time you should be signing up for the SAT test before your junior year is over, the deadline for the June 2nd test at Kokomo HS is May 3rd. Please stop by the counseling office if you have any questions.

*Summer School forms are now available in the counseling office. They are due by May 31st and payment is due upon return of the form.

*The Taylor Historical Society is looking for volunteers to help with and upcoming event in Kokomo: “The Armed Forces Open to Benefit the Jackson Street Commons.” Saturday May 12th. Time: Registration between 8-9:30 am. Players meeting @9:30 am. Shot-gun start at 10 am
Place: The Preserve at Crossroads Community Church (4254 S 00 EW ~ Corner of State Roads 26 & 931)
Entry Fee: $25/per person (lunch included)
ACE (Hole in 1) & CTP (Closest to the Pin) prizes

*ATTENTION SENIORS: “Sellers Deadline”: The deadline for the three Sellers scholarship applications is approaching. Taylor seniors and graduates have until April 13 to apply for financial help next school year or summer school.

*American Driving Academy: Come join our Summer Driver Education Classes! We are offering an Afternoon Class, an Evening Class, and a Morning Class. Students from all schools as well as home-schooled students are welcome to attend. We also offer an Internet Driver Education Class Option - AAA’s “How to Drive” for those students unable to attend our Traditional Classes. Current Special: FREE Drive Skills Test when you sign up for an Internet Package in March or April ($35 value). Students must be 15 years old by the start of training. The six one hour drives for both In-Classroom training, and the Internet training, will be scheduled from the Academy at a later date.
