On Monday, August 28, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. a meeting conducted by the Kokomo Area Special Education Cooperative will take place in the board room at Western Schools, 2600 County Rd S 600 W, Russiaville, IN 46979. The purpose of the meeting will be to provide an opportunity for parents and representatives of non-public schools to participate in the development of a plan for providing special education services to children with disabilities who attend non-public schools and home schools which are within the Taylor Community School district for the 2017-2018 school year. Parents of a home schooled child or a child attending a non-public school who has been, or may be, identified with a disability and attend a non-public school within the Taylor district are urged to attend. All enrolled THS students can get their Chromebook for the 2017-2018 school year early. Hand out will be in the Taylor Media Center on August 14 from 5:00 to 7:00. Verification of enrollment is required and those not enrolled will need to enroll before getting Chromebook for the year.

    Any Junior or Senior who has a g.p.a. of 8.0 or higher is eligible to take one elective course each semester as a pass/fail in one of the following dept.: Art, Business, FACS or Music. This enables students who are highly motivated by g.p.a. to take non-weighted courses that may be of great benefit to them. Please sign up in the Counseling Office if you would like to be added to the Pass/Fail list for Semester 1 and/or Semester 2.
