Congratulations to Taylor Community School Corporation being selected as a finalist for 2017 Public Institution of the Year by the Howard County Chamber of Commerce with Indiana Universty at Kokomo and Ivy Tech of Kokomo. This was celebrated on Thursday, November 2nd at the 103rd Annual Celebration. Congratulations to the Indiana University of Kokomo for being named Public Institution of the year. Once again proud of our students, parents, staff, administrative team, school board, and community. Go, Titans!

*To Taylor staff and students-Taylor Historical Society is selling Christmas Tins with cookies inside. 6 cookies come in one tin, and one tin is $3. All proceeds go to the historical society fund. You can purchase these Christmas cookie tins at lunch outside the cafeteria, or see Mr. Bennett. Thanks, and Merry Christmas!

*Attention all students and teachers - put on your ugliest Christmas sweater and win a prize this Friday. Come to see Mrs. Purcell with your ugly Christmas sweater by 8th period Friday. Yearbook will choose the winner. Also, bring a dollar or two and come decorate an ugly Christmas cookie! See Mrs. Purcell with questions.

*SENIORS: Senior pictures retake day is December 7th. Remember to dress nice, boys a nice shirt and tie, girls a nice dress or blouse.

*Taylors theatrical department will be presenting "A Titan Christmas" Tonight,( December 4th) at 7 PM. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for senior citizens, student, and veterans.  All Taylor staff will be admitted free. Concessions will also be available.  Come out and start your holiday season with the Taylor called department!












Student Information and Activities

*The Taylor Instrumental Music Department invites you to an evening of Holiday music on December 14, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. Bring your friends and family to hear a selection of Holiday songs played by grades 6-12. Admission is free, students grade 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

* College bound students: We have two good scholarships due this Friday, Dec. 15: Five Burger King grants went to five Titans in just the last three years! Criteria are grades, work, & activities. The Lugar Minority gives several, very generous amounts. For more information on both scholarships, see the November bulletin and the scholarship box in the counseling office.

*Trine University is hosting two Baseball Prospect camps, in December on Wednesday the 27th and Thursday the 28th. They are for students grades 9-12 and will be from10am-4pm at the Ketner sports center and the ARC on campus. Cost is $90 which includes a t-shirt.
